LOCKSS

I like the term LOCKSS. When doing family history remember the term LOCKSS. LOCKSS is a term for Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe. It is always a good idea to have multiple copies of records. Back up your files, put your information in multiple places. You can add your information to websites such as Ancestry and also FamilySearch or print out some things and organize things into folders or binders or use cloud storage. Store copies in different locations (just have a way to remember or track where the copies are stored.) Decide if one family tree will be enough.
